Product Description

by Sarita Armstrong (Author)

Side B is considered 'the back side' of the Phaistos Disc, but this author believes it conveys much earlier historical information than Side A. Applying her seafaring knowledge, she identifies it as historical testimony to Minoan and Phoenician nautical journeys before these great navigators settled in the Mediterranean area.
They were vibrant and adventurous seafarers who understood the dynamics of their world, but were struggling to cram an enormous amount of information into a tiny space. The lines portray geographical areas and the pictograms tell us what the intrepid sailors could expect to find there. They search for 'like-minded people' displaced by rising seas at the end of the last Ice Age. There are simple but wise folk who are lost in a New Age. The Civilizers of legend bring healing and practical help to destitute people. The Phaeacians become the guardians of the ancient wisdom concerning their world in its cosmic setting.
This is the first detailed interpretation of Side B and includes the whole disc with detailed photographs.
