It's the beginning of summer, and Luke Detter can't wait to spend those carefree days with his friends. However, he suddenly finds that his family will be soon moving to the UK as a result of his father's new job.

His adventures start when he begins to sneak out at night and explore the building, each room taking him to a different time in history and bringing him in contact with danger and adventure beyond his wildest imagination.
Luke begins to realize that his connection with this house is not merely a coincidence, and each door that he opens leads to a room that is a piece to the puzzle that will bring him closer to understanding the mystery behind who he really is. However, what's behind the last door remains elusive, as it won't open like the other ones. But it is the one that ultimately holds the key to revealing his true destiny.
