This hypothesis deals with a special group, newborns and infants. What makes them so special is that they are in the developmental stage. In that circumstance, their bodies and brains are made up of developmental cells such as nests of gametes that are the architects of the adult brain. The disorder, autism, is believed to be caused by organically based central nervous system dysfunction especially in the ability to process social or emotional information or language. For some time it has been believed that the mechanism of this condition is probably an inherent constitutional defect.
