She writes about light and weighty topics - from relaxing with a favorite book to considering the removal of reminders of Canada's colonial past. "How can the past be erased for all its faults?" she writes. "If the current vein continues, Canada will end up with a revisionist history, without truth."

Author Biography
Judy Pollard Smith has contributed articles, book reviews, short stories and travel pieces to newspapers, literary journals, and magazines for over twenty years. In 2014, she published Don't Call Me Lady-The Journal of Lady Alice Seeley Harris, which traced the life of a young British woman whose photos helped to dismantle King Leopold's Congo at the century's turn.
