Product Description

by Mike Neil (Author)

The Miracle of Africa by Mike Neil is an adventure novel set in 1911 narrated by John Rivers, a science professor and devout atheist. He became interested in Africa because of the hunting, and also because he thought he could win fame by finding Darwin's missing link. This is a love story about a rekindled marriage after losing a child set in a backdrop of the wild African bush. There is gripping adventure and tender moments of friendship and devotion. You will have to read this novel to find out about The Miracle of Africa. There are two lions in scripture: Christ the lion of Judah, and Satan who prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. The painting on the cover by Mike Neil is an illustration of the aim of this book which is: God sent a lion so than all mankind might come to know Him. Mike Neil is a retired Fish and Wildlife Officer and is currently serving as the Statewide Senior Chaplain for the Washington State Patrol and the Department of Fish and Wildlife. He and his wife Sue have been married since 1973 and live in Gig Harbor, Washington. Please visit, www.mdneil.com
