Product Description

by Bill McMillan (Author), Kimberly Stewart (Author), Ben Stroup (Editor)

Outside of financial crises or large capital campaigns, "major donors" or "high-capacity givers" may be the most ignored group in churches when it comes to spiritual development. The Ministry of Giving is a great reminder that our financial leaders have much more to give than just financial resources, and building a bridge to them will benefit us in ways we have yet to understand or imagine. Launching a giving ministry isn't about money. It's about raising up people to fulfill the mission and vision God has placed on our hearts.

Author Biography

Joel Mikell is president of RSI. With more than twenty-five years of local church ministry experience, he brings a passion for helping churches cast their vision to reach people for Christ, as only a pastor can. He has helped church leaders raise more than $500 million for Kingdom projects and has had the privilege of working with some of the most well-known churches and church leaders across the country. Bill McMillan served for more than twenty years as both a pastor and a pastoral counselor before joining RSI. He currently serves as executive vice president. Bill has led thriving stewardship campaigns in churches of many sizes and denominations, raising millions of dollars for local ministry. He is an excellent communicator and project manager, whose consulting hallmarks lie in communications strategy and major gift development. Kimberly Stewart is the executive director of development for Eagle Brook Church in the Twin Cities, responsible for overseeing the financial leader development strategy across its five campuses. Prior to joining Eagle Brook four years ago, Kimberly had a successful career as a corporate sales executive developing and expanding the relationship between her clients and the IT research advisory firm that employed her. Her transition from the corporate sector to her role in ministry came naturally and has allowed her to fully embrace her passion for generosity and involvement in her church.
