Product Description

by M. R. Corbitt (Author)

The Man I Would Like To Have Met is a veritable account of my odyssey to find love. The complex relationship with my parents and siblings, the nonexistent rapport with my peers and classmates, the weak connection with my Christian family, the indifferent bond with my teachers and boyfriends, even the bizarre link with my television and radio all affected my decisions to take the paths I took to find this love. The bitterly harsh journey began when I was fourteen years old and ended in my thirties. Along the way I surrendered whatever dignity I had, in addition to almost losing my life. For a little while I became someone else. In the end I learned sex and love are not even remotely the same, and I learned real love is something much more substantial than the world persistently endeavors to present to us. Michelle Corbitt now lives in Mercer County, in New Jersey, sharing an apartment with one of her children who has chosen to remain in the nest. She has written articles for newsletters at previous jobs and was recently given the opportunity to write articles for her church's newsletter. Michelle is currently an active member of the First Baptist Church in her town.
