Author Biography

SAUL ISLER is the author of three novels and a book of "short short" stories, "The Man in the Parking Lot." His second volume of short stories, "The Blue Shoes," will be published soon. He's been an ad man, journalist, newspaper columnist, restaurant critic and host of "Dining Out" on Radio Sausalito. His work has appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle, the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Onion, and in two anthologies, NPR's "I Thought My Father Was God" and The Left Coast Writer's "Hot Flashes II." A Cleveland native, he and his cat, Andy, currently live in Santa Monica.
