Author Biography
Mandy Karol lives in Grand Haven, Michigan, with her husband, six children, four dogs, cat, and turtle. Her passions include special needs and trauma-informed advocacy, mindfulness, reading, dining out, traveling, and exploring the Lake Michigan shoreline. Her days are loud and busy but everything she could hope for. After spending years caretaking for others, she finally found herself returning to her childhood passion of writing. Mandy learned of her inherent goodness too late in life and now writes for children, herself, and inner children everywhere.
Krystal Kramer's art journey came to life in 2017 when her husband joined the US Air Force. After working as an accountant for many years and becoming a mother of three beautiful children, she looked for a hobby that was flexible with constant moves. At their first duty station, Krystal started painting as therapy to pass the time and fell in love with her new watercolor medium. Krystal is a self-taught artist with great appreciation for nature in all forms, and her art reflects the beauty that surrounds her. Born in Astoria, Oregon, raised in Tampa, Florida, and previously stationed in Hawaii, her Instagram handle @Coast_To_Coast_Artist was the perfect fit. Krystal has a passion for illustrating children's books and is looking forward to creating many more captivating paintings for children to enjoy.
