Product Description

by Dalon Antoine Hardgraves (Author)

The Little Class is an interactive reading book that is designed for the reader and the audience to be actively involved within the story itself. Parents as well as teacher can role play the different scenarios within the story and act them out so that the child will get a first hand demonstration on how to handle such situations. If you notice, all of the names, locations and sports within the story are colored and underlined. This is so that the reader can exchange the names within the story with a name that they may feel more comfortable using or for mentoring purposes as well. In this book the characters will resolve social dilemmas such as parent seppartion, first day of school jitters, sharing and cleaning up.

Author Biography

As a former Behavior Specialist and a current Disabilities and Mental Health Coordinator for preschoolers, parents and teacher ask me all of the time about affective ways to control their homes and classrooms. So I decided to come up with this interactive series to help answer a lot of those questions that many parents and teacher may have all over the world. I have two boys of my own and my oldest is 4years old and I have one on the way. I have taught as well as worked with behavioral challenged children within the urban school districts of Kansas City for over 7 years and I have an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and a BA degree in Sociology. I have about one year left to obtain my masters degree in Public Affairs. I was also in the United States Navy for 4 years and I enjoyed the time that I was enlisted.
