Product Description

by August J. Pettigrew (Author)

We all have people that we admire-whether they are family, friends, celebrities, world leaders, or historical figures. What would you say to the people who've influenced you, who've shaped who you are? August J. Pettigrew's new book full of inspirational letters to important figures in her own life encourages you to put pen to paper and tell them exactly what they mean to you

Pettigrew's collection includes letters to her mother and other women who've had an impact on her...as well as Miss Manners, the members of the US Armed Forces, Chief Justice Earl Warren, and even God. In short, she's long on the praise for a wide variety of people and groups who've made her the accomplished writer and retired public servant that she is today. And you can-and should-do the same thing if you have benefitted from the investment of time and energy others have put into you.

So take up your pen-or your laptop -and write a letter-or en e-mail -to that person in your life who's made an impact. You'll be motivated and inspired by what thanking others can do for you
