Product Description

by Maria Brinck (Author)

"The Leadership We Need is more than a leadership manual--it's a strategic guide for organizations and individuals ready to lead with vision, authenticity, and adaptability." -JULIE LOCKWOOD, Program Director of Integration Services IBM, Global Business Consulting & Masters University Professor at University of Colorado Denver

The leadership that got us here won't get us where we need to go.

The Leadership We Need: A New Mindset for a Brighter Future offers a bold, urgent blueprint for a new era of leadership--one that's tough enough to address challenging issues, protect our future, and lead with clear, authentic purpose. The stakes have never been higher.

Drawing from over a decade of leadership expertise and research, Maria Brinck calls out the dominant, masculine monopoly on leadership that has shaped society for millennia--and how it's failing us in today's poly-crisis reality.

Brinck argues that the hard way is, in fact, the right way: where we collaborate instead of compete, engage people instead of control them, and live alongside nature rather than dominate it.

We need leadership that serves people and the planet.

Brinck doesn't just diagnose the problem of disengagement and lack of diversity of thought in today's leadership culture and how we need to evolve our bias in who we believe is qualified and capable to lead, if we are to solve the challenges ahead; She lays out a practical, visionary path forward for business and nations to do so.

Through powerful examples of collaborative and service-driven leaders and a 3 -step roadmap, communication exercises and self-assessments, there is time to turn things around and it can be done in micro steps as readily accessible and changeable immediately. The Leadership We Need gives you the clear blueprint to adopt today and it will make a significant impact on the organization and humanity.
