Years later, Grand Duke Maxim, his wife Elena, and three little duchesses now benevolently rule over the isle. The youngest duchess, Evelyn, is the dragons' favorite; they spend endless days playing and climbing together until one day when Evelyn finds a legless dragon named Troika on the beach, and their lives are changed forever.
