For the first time a Study is made of incorruptible bodies around the world on the basis of the country and 128 such bodies of Holy Christian persons have been identified.Preservation of bodies can be done in numerous ways.There are natural methods where countries such as Denmark, Egypt, Tigris area, Mexico, Iran, Tibet, Himalayan region have preserved bodies due to conditions of the soil.When they are sheltered from Oxygen, Moisture, and microorganisms, bodies do not decay.Bodies can also be mummified by Chemical treatment, and a good example is mummification of the Pharaohs of Egypt.Religous sects in Japan attempted to attain enlightenment by meditation and eating a special diet of certain roots of trees which was self mummification while alive and bodies sometimes became mummified after death.However the mystery that has amazed the scientific community since the early second century is the preservation of bodies of these Holy Christian people.These bodies do not undergo Rigor Mortiis and the muscles remain supple when they are examined several years after burial.As against mummification these bodies remain fresh and some exude a pleasant fragrance.There have been instances where the grave is illuminated which triggers exhumation of the body and it is found to be incorrupt.Sometimes relatives or persons close to the individual see visions which also result in exhumation and the discovery of undecayed bodies.Since Medical Science has no explanatation we have to infer that an unseen supernatural hand brings about these phenomena.But the Catholic Church is als perplexed why is it that only the bodies of some Holy people do not undergo decay after death.Incorruptibility is not a qualification for sainthood and some of these Holy people are not even beatified.In this book we will study the life stories of these persons.Did they show supernatural gifts during their tenure on earth? Did they lead exemplary live and contribute in some measure to the propagation of the faith, or did they help the poor or the sick? In what ay are these people special?Perhaps we will not find answers to all our questions but the fact remains Almighty God has set them apart as examples for us to emulate in our journ
