This book began as a tribute Wendy Jones' son-in-law, who died at the age 35, 3 months after becoming a new father. It has developed into a tool that will support other new families. Author Biography
Wendy Jones, PhD MRPharmS is a pharmacist and has been supporting breastfeeding mothers through a voluntary organization since 1987. She gained a PhD in 2000 following a thesis on Community Pharmacist Support for the Breastfeeding Mother Requiring Medication. She has a passion for encouraging breastfeeding as well as providing information to healthcare professionals and families on drugs in breastmilk through a national helpline involving emails and social media as well as telephone calls.
