Product Description

by Sanjeev Sanyal (Author), Sonia Mehta (Author)

Ever wondered what it takes to shape a nation, conquer the skies, or inspire millions? The Heroes Among Us: 25 Extraordinary Indians gives children aged 8 to12 a backstage pass to the lives of those who changed India forever.

Fly with Rakesh Sharma to space, climb the Everest with Bachendri Pal, and cheer as Kapil Dev lifts the World Cup. Meet pioneers like Kiran Bedi, who redefined courage, and Verghese Kurien, who turned a nation's dream of self-reliance into reality. Each story brims with determination, resilience, and the power to make a difference.

With vibrant illustrations, this book is more than a collection of biographies-it's a time machine, a telescope, and a mirror. A time machine to the past, a telescope to dreams yet to come, and a mirror for every child to see the hero within.
