Product Description

by Lucie Jacklin (Author)

Prologue

Embarking on a dream they both shared, Rob and Samantha find their dream home and new business venture in the picturesque town of Bear River, Nova Scotia. The historic house they fall in love with is built on stilts and was built in 1856.

They buy the property, and soon Daisy's Cafe is up and running, but they are soon to discover they are not alone-the spirit of a legend resides in their presence.

The Legend of Marlena Swart is notorious amongst the local folk, and if they are to uncover a local crime, they will need to draw on more than their wits to unravel clues that have been lying all around them.

Discovering their perfect life in Canada came with unexpected revelations, and the couple are in for far more than scones and tea when they open their doors to the folk of Bear River.
