Product Description

by Xavier Fauche (Author), Jean L?turgie (With), Morris (Illustrator)

After inadvertently thwarting a convict's escape attempt, Rin Tin Can flees the penitentiary and ends up with two sheep herders who are being targeted by wool thieves. The robbers, Giuseppe and Aldo, are actually looking for a specific sheep skin tattooed with a treasure map, in order to post their father's bail. Unwittingly - as usual - Rin Tin Can becomes first the accomplice of the two not-too-bright brothers, then their 'godfather' ...

Author Biography

Born and raised in Belgium, Morris moved to the United States in 1946 for six years. There, he worked for MAD magazine and met RenéGoscinny, with whom he collaborated from 1955 until Goscinny's death in 1977. JeanLéturgie co-created the character of Percevan before he began an enduring cooperation with Xavier Fauche that produced eight Lucky Luke titles, followed by the spin-off series Rin Tin Can and Kid Lucky. Fauche, a well-known figure in French radio, also wrote for the French version of Jim Henson's show Fraggle Rock and co-created the cartoon Les Tifous.
