The church today is in crisis. Our society views the church, for the most part, as archaic and irrelevant. It even appears to have lost the power to change the lives of the very ones that proclaim it to be the answer to the world's problems. The gospel that Jesus demonstrated during His earthly ministry and delivered to the church's leadership has all but evaporated. The church has reduced the gospel to a "salvation only" message, whose focus is individualistic and internal. The salvation only message has literally caused the church to become "saved but stuck". Many are saved but are unable to realize the joy of their salvation and the fulfillment that the gospel promises them. This is because they have yet to receive the rest of the gospel - or The Full Gospel! When we embrace the Full Gospel, the church will again be a world changer. When we adopt the Gospel of the Kingdom that Jesus and the early church practiced and preached, many of the ills that the church is suffering, both individually and corporately, will disappear. This will only happen when the church embrace and teaches, not only a gospel of salvation, but the FULL Gospel of Christ! .

Dr. J.C. Matthews is the Senior Pastor of Dunamis Life Ministries and founder of J.C. Matthews Ministries, REIGN Publications a.k.a. Blessed Books Publishing Company, the International Kingdom Institute, REIGN Worldwide Inc, and the REIGN Worldwide International Fellowship of Churches. J.C. and wife Gena also host the Kingdom teaching television programs "Living Life Powerfully" and "The EMBASSY". J.C. has worked for some of America's top corporations prior to entering into full time ministry. Dr. Matthews possesses a B.A in Political Science, as well as a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree. In addition, J.C. was twice recognized (1996 and 1997) for the outstanding study of law by the "Who's Who Among American Law Students" and was also honored as an Urban All-American by the General Assembly of the Ohio State Senate.
