Product Description

by Lorri Donley-Espinoza (Illustrator), Elizabeth Donley-Leer (Author)

Jessika spent her life swimming around the beautiful lagoon she was born in, staring at the skies wanting to fly like those amazing creatures of the sky. Join her and her friends on her adventure to accomplish her dream.

Author Biography

Elizabeth Leer is a Texas born, California native, who lives in Colorado. She spent the first twenty years of her life living in California, traveling along the Pacific coast. Writing for young adults and children is her main focus, as a graduate of the Institute of Children's Literature. Writing has been her passion every since she learned to spell her name. Her character's personalities are drawn from the people who have passed in and out of her life as well as her family members. The Fish Who Wanted to Fly is based on Elizabeth's now grown daughter who is a competitive swimmer and full of adventure.
