The following Bible studies contain a reservoir of informati on concerning the nature of man and diff erent facets of the subject which we commonly call "Hell." In exploring the true nature of man we shall fi rst sit at the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then we will search the epistles of the apostle Paul and other New Testament writers. Finally, we will compare this with the revelati on in the Hebrew Scriptures. On the subject of Hell this material is organized in such a way, from the beginning of the Hebrew Scriptures through to the end of the book of Revelati on, so as to give a sequenti al and orderly revelati on. No doubt this may be a most distasteful subject to some as it pertains to the eternal desti ny of the lost and of our archenemy, Satan; nevertheless, the subject matt er, contrary to the assumpti ons of many false teachers, is abundantly spoken on in the Scriptures. Every child of God needs to know and understand its ramifi cati ons as an important reality in the confl ict between good and evil. The apostle Paul, as did the Lord Jesus Christ before him, actually includes it as a crucial point in his ministry in this age of grace-"...in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel" (Rom. 2:16). In Hebrew 6:1 and 2 the "doctrine of Eternal Judgment" is listed as a "foundati onal" subject. Early in his ministry, Jack W. Langord stepped outside the traditi onal man-made religious organizati ons in Christendom and served the only church that Christ is building - "the church which is Christ's body" -(1 Cor. 12:13 and Eph. 4:1-4). He exemplifi ed a Bible-teaching ministry, conducted several radio programs, held public discussions with both atheists and cult leaders, and traveled to several diff erent countries.
