Julia Stakhnevich, PhD, was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. She received her doctorate from the University of Mississippi and teaches English, Linguistics, and Russian at Bridgewater State University. She is a member of the American Association of Applied Linguistics and the International Society for Language Study. She lives in Bridgewater, MA.
