Through her, we learn about the turmoil outside, and even inside the wall. The Edge of Awnawas is a story about love and what it means to love outside of cis-heteronormative structure. It is a story about how society shapes our identities and our ways of thinking. It's about how we view ourselves, free or chained. The Edge of Awnawas is a short exploration of what queer science fiction can truly be.
