The Crank Brothers are two brothers growing up in Cranksville. With the help of their neighborhood friends, they play instruments while learning about all types of genres of music by integrating famous or culturally icons of music into the storyline of each episode to teach the target demographic life and music appreciation.
Author Biography
Ihkand Mason has been cranking out music for everybody locally and worldwide. Growing up in Washington, DC (a city where a live band was the heartbeat), Ihkand was force to pick-up an instrument. Son of a drummer, naturally he adapted the craft. Starting his band called Optimystic Tribe is where the "pocket" and knowledge of song structure was developed. Gaining recognition for his perfect timing allowed him to work in the studio with heavy weights like Roy Ayres, Erica Badu, Chucky Thompson, P Diddy and others.
