Author Biography

Julie Jensen has been in the childbirth education and adult learning fields for over three decades. She has a bachelor's degree in clinical and physiological psychology and a PhD in participatory adult learning that has become a manual for adult educators. She has written curricula for and taught a number of childbirth preparation and other prenatal classes including traditional, natural, adolescent, expectant fathers and antepartum needs. She is also a registered psychotherapist in Colorado and is currently a Parent Education Coordinator and childbirth educator in a hospital setting. The Dance of Teaching Childbirth Education is her first book.
