The Daily Office Book, in the tradition of The Prayer Book Office, provides Episcopalians who regularly pray the Daily Office with an enhanced form for their prayer. This volume includes a Rite II structure of the office, proper antiphons for the seasons of the church year and for the major feasts of the church, a set of common offices to celebrate lesser feasts, and the psalter with seasonal antiphons for the psalms. (Psalm 119 includes only one antiphon for all seasons.) An alternate one month psalmody divides the psalms among the four offices in the Book of Common Prayer. To enhance the celebration of Noonday Prayer, readings are provided for the liturgical seasons and celebrations of the saints. The references to the Daily Office Lectionary from the Book of Common Prayer is included.
