The mission of the 501(c)(3) not for profit organization (NPO) Cross Dressers Wives is to provide a safe environment for cross dressers' wives everywhere. Since 2006, our website, www.crossdresserswives.com, has emerged as one of the top support sites designed to address the needs of all women who are (or were) involved in an intimate relationship with a cross dresser. Our Forum encourages cross dressers' wives from across the globe to reach out and anonymously share their experiences in an effort to learn from each other without fear of being judged or humiliated. Together, we raise awareness amongst ourselves and throughout society about what our lives are really like being married to a cross dresser. While we have compassion for all parties, Cross Dressers Wives is solely designed to support the cross dresser's wife who, past or present, is struggling with this issue. We do not advocate non-support of partners - we seek to validate women who are dealing with the multi-faceted complexities of cross dressing and help them better understand this issue. Sometimes, you just need someone to talk to and know YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Many women feel a vast sense of betrayal when the cross dresser discloses his condition well after the marriage or partnership began. Most often, due to ignorance regarding this multifarious issue, wives blame themselves. Many of us frequently tell no one for fear of being judged or embarrassed by our partner's condition. We call for the accountability of cross dressing partners to tell the truth BEFORE entering a serious intimate relationship.
