The health of a community depends on every person in the community have access to quality education, housing, healthcare, and food in addition to livable wages, environment, and reliable transportation. This is not possible if nonprofits, government agencies and for-profit businesses work separately. They must all work together to form a community health ecosystem with the goal of co-creating optimal health for all, or health equity.
