Product Description

by Jeff Ridenour (Author)

The Comedian from Hellfire is a detective-driven murder mystery set in Central California during the summer of 1967. Stu Fletcher, a former detective with the Burbank PD, is invited to help solve the murder of his friend Murky Murtrans's wife Cynthia. Meanwhile, Fletcher is hired by a local criminal defense attorney, Amanda Reynolds, to help her prove her client, Ricky Claymore III, the grandson of a welathy local winery owner, did not rape a coed at the local university. Eventually, Fletcher's two cases merge in ways he did not anticipate. While embarrassed at solving both his cases too slowly, he hastens to prevent a clever murderer from killing again.
