Author Biography
Arlen Twedt is a retired educator living in Ankeny, Iowa, and a descendant of two families who founded the settlement east of Story City. In 1995, he started the Central Iowa Norwegian Project to collect information for writing a history of the first 50 years of settlement. This is the first of three volumes he will publish about Norwegians who settled in central Iowa.
