After fleeing Earth and the evil Manidog, Kristen Elliot and her brother Lawrence had been living on Peta, with David Eagleman, for nearly three years. Now in charge of Spirit Warrior Operations, they unexpectedly receive a message from Dr. Sloane Tate at her latest archeological dig that will send the Manidog after them again. But, this time, not in a way they expect.
As they find themselves in the middle of yet another legend on Peta, they are unaware that back on Earth their mother, Sara, Lindsay, and their friends, the Guardians, are in danger. When Lindsay is kidnapped by the Manidog and taken off planet, the Guardians pursue them with help from a biomechanical bear called Tender, and the crew. However, when Lindsay is rescued, will she be the same or forever changed?
