Product Description

by Barnard Ardglass (Author)

In their separate lives, Hugh Ward and friends steadily realize that evil is prevalent and devastating. They work together to fight evil however they can. Born American, raised in Northern Ireland, Hugh survives violence, becomes a scientist, and finds love in Ireland. Fate ends that love. Friends guide him to a secluded Irish monastery to contemplate life. On a hilltop there, a blue statue of an angel is mysterious. Hugh learns that this hill is a trans-stellar hub. He walks among the dead, and interacts with beings in a distant galaxy. Hounded by violence, Hugh and friends use deadly force to defend themselves and the monastery. Their lives are not all struggle. They enjoy good company and good food, as well as some success against evil. But small successes are not enough. Hugh mulls a visit to a distant galaxy to study how other beings deal with evil.
