Marilee Pierce Dunker is the second daughter of Dr. Bob Pierce, founder of World Vision and Samaritan's Purse. Her first book, Man of Vision, focused on the price her family paid to see World Vision founded, and her groundbreaking honesty won her an Angel Award for best biography. Five other books followed, including Walkers Point, a fiction that earned her a 3-book deal with Bethany House. But before her second fiction was finished, she went to work with World Vision, traveling to forty countries during her 19 years as a speaker and writer for the ministry.
