Product Description

by Karen L. Cohen (Author)

The most comprehensive book of enameling has been revised to bring you this essential reference. Every chapter and project has been reviewed and updated. About half the projects have changed; classic techniques such as champlevé and cloisonné, and are still included, as well as newer approaches such as enameling on steel--21 project lessons in all.

Author Biography

With a love for teaching and a 40-year passion for enameling, Karen L. Cohen shares her knowledge of this time-tested art form. Her first love is Cloisonné enameling on fine silver for the luminosity, depth, and variety of color, but she also enjoys working in an array of techniques on copper. She is proud to present this completely revised and updated edition of her book, to which over 165 artists have contributed. She resides in Milford, Pennsylvania. Karen has a set of web pages that provide book extensions including experimental results and info provided by others that did not make it into the book.
