Author Biography

Jerry Schmitz is the author of multiple books that delve into the art and making of film, including The Art and Making of The Peanuts Movie, The Art of DreamWorks Trolls, Surf's Up: The Art and Making of a True Story, and The Art of Shrek Forever After. More recently, he served as the project manager of Spielberg: The First Ten Years by Laurent Bouzereau. He lives in Los Angeles. Instagram: @JerSchmitz
Lupita Nyong'o is an actress who has won an Academy Award, an Emmy Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award and is known for her performances in critically acclaimed films such as 12 Years a Slave, Black Panther, Us, and many others. She has additionally been nominated for a Golden Globe, a BAFTA Award, and a Tony Award.
Peter Brown is the New York Times bestselling author and illustrator of the Wild Robot series. In 2016, The Wild Robot was named one of the best children's books by Kirkus Reviews, the New York Public Library, Publishers Weekly, and Shelf Awareness. His work has also garnered a Caldecott Honor.
Chris Sanders is a three-time Academy Award-nominated filmmaker, producer, animator, and voice actor. He is known for writing and directing both Lilo & Stitch and How to Train Your Dragon.
Jeff Hermann is a producer known for his work on The Boss Baby: Family Business, Kung Fu Panda 3, and a number of animated shorts. He lives in California.
