Hitler used Luther's birthday for Kristallnacht: Nazi propaganda also highlighted the coincidence of the Kristallnacht pogroms in 1938, with Luther's birthday, November 9-10, likely seeking to link the violence against Jews to Luther's antisemitic writings.
