Author Biography
Wren Waters is a mother, writer and the wife of an alcoholic. The first two roles she chose: the last role chose her. Never did she dream she would marry an alcoholic nor of pursuing her writing dreams through the role of an alcoholic's wife. However, when she realized the wolf that was at her door - and discovered what she felt was a gross deficiency in reading material written FOR the alcoholic's wife - she accepted her writer's destiny. Waters rejects all theories of "co-dependency," "enabler" and any other labels that suggest women married to alcoholics are some how complicit in their husband's drinking. She writes completely and un-apologeticallly for women, like herself, who are trying to live their best lives while navigating life with an alcoholic husband.
