Evelyn Winfield, a Minneapolis native, is a Chicago resident who has been in the ministry for more than 10 years. Under the leadership of pastors Monica and Chris De La Rentis, she serves as associate pastor of Chicago Life Center Church. One who has loved reading since she first learned to do so as a child, Evelyn has enjoyed stories since age 11 and has been writing her own material since the age of 34. Now a mother of four who has 20 grandchildren, she released the stories that appear in her debut, The Adventures of Joshua Bear and His Friends, as a way to teach youth of GOD's love and power while also "seeing GOD's creative hand in touching the lives of many children and parents."
