At the time, this book was written, Jim was an autistic teen. James is now an adult, who successfully lives on his own with his two therapy dogs. He shops, cooks, and writes blogs for a Real Estate Marketing Company in Southern California. He defied all odds, and his journey is unique, because everyone predicted that Jim would live in a group home. He has surpassed all odds to effectively live on his own. This was only possible, because of the steps outlined in this book.
