Author Biography
Jason Tourville is a husband, father, pastor, athlete, and author. He currently leads a thriving church, Shrewsbury Assembly, since January 2013, and has been a full-time minister with the Assemblies of God since graduation from the University of Valley Forge in 1995, where he was a 1st-Team All-American basketball player. After ministering as a Youth Pastor in Delaware, he continued his education at Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, receiving a Masters in Counseling (MFT, LPC). He has served at a variety of churches in the Northeast, from mega-churches, to small, turn-around churches. He established a compassion outreach in Philadelphia in 2010 in coordination with Convoy of Hope. He founded www.BreakthroughPastors.com: an online ministry encouraging and inspiring pastors in the Spiritual Dynamic of Leadership in 2016, and you can find his weekly thoughts at his personal blog www.JasonTourville.com. He enjoys reading, all sports and has participated in a few triathlons, including finishing an Ironman 70.3 and has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. He now lives Southern York County, PA with his wife Rene' with their four kids (two boys and two girls) and a dog. What free-time is found, he likes spending with his family, and watching the kids in their interests.
