Product Description

by Markus Fredericks (Author)

TEXAS CHAINSAW MASOCHIST is a unique concept in the realm of HORROR... More often than not, the lead character - also known as 'the monster' - is usually a deranged killer who butchers innocent victims at random. In this story, the protagonist (AKA: monster) is a particularly dangerous lunatic, yet the audience will end up cheering for him since he only targets very despicable people. He is a true animal lover, and loyal to the few friends he ever encounters. What also sets this horror story apart is Todd's true compassion and remorse he feels for his victims. Our main character, Todd Waddington, is unusually big and strong, but while growing up he was a social outcast due to a speech impediment. He desired friends, and longed to 'play' with others, which in his case always ended up in a 'game of torture' whereby he actively competes in a fair manner with his victims. When the victim dies, Todd would invariably end up torturing himself in severe, masochist fashion. Todd lives in Texas, and he treasures his father's chainsaw as a memento of his father's gruesome, accidental death. That's how he earned the nickname: Texas Chainsaw masochist. The story is well developed, and loaded with vastly entertaining characters. There is even a sprinkling of humor mixed in to counterbalance the horrifically intense scenes of torture. All lovers of the macabre will be demanding me to write a sequel - but don't worry, your wish is my command.

Author Biography

Hi, I'm Markus Fredericks, author of many books from a variety of genres, and I have been a 'horror movie buff' since I was a little kid. I used to stay up late to watch, 'Nightmare Theater', on my parent's black and white TV every Friday night. Back in the day, I enjoyed being scared by silly stuff such as 'Frankenstein' and 'The Creature from the Black Lagoon'. However, as I matured so did my tastes, although I still love a quality 'horror movie'. Sadly, too many (but thankfully not all) horror flicks rely too heavily on gore and Special Effects. They tend to have weak story lines, and the main 'monster characters' usually seem to enjoy wreaking havoc on innocent victims at random. One of my all-time, favorite 'horror movies' is the original, 'Silence of the Lambs'. It has way less gore than most horror flicks, yet it is way scarier. That's when I decided to write this unique story, TEXAS CHAINSAW MASOCHIST. The protagonist - or 'monster' if you prefer, actually is the hero. Although he is a very violent lunatic, he only targets people of ill-repute, and he is very loyal to the few friends he ever encounters. Don't worry, I made sure to include plenty of fascinating, deliciously-conceived gore, so lovers of the macabre won't be disappointed.
