Product Description

by Elie Venezky (Author)

Test Prep Sanity is everything a parent needs to help a child through his or her standardized test calmly, sanely and successfully. It includes everything from how to find the right tutor, to how to handle complaining, to what your child should eat and wear on test day. It's an absolutely essential read for any parent whose child is taking a standardized test.

Author Biography

Elie Venezky began tutoring for standardized tests in 1999 and quickly discovered that he liked it. Since then, he founded his own company, Prestige Prep, and wrote two books: Test-Prep Sanity and the soon to be released Test-Prep Sanity for Students. Elie has dedicated himself to learning how to best teach and motivate students. He uses techniques from neuroscience, sales and marketing, education and motivational speaking to inspire kids to break through their self-limiting beliefs. His students have scored higher than they ever thought possible, and they've changed the way they view themselves and their potential for success. Elie has personal experience pushing through such beliefs: at age 28, he confronted a minor fear of heights and stage fright to become an aerialist. He has performed trapeze, lyra and other aerial dance across the United States and Europe, as well as on CNN and The Oprah Winfrey Show. You can find more information about Elie at prestigeprep.com
