Author Biography
Sir Charles Muoka a native of Agulu in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State Nigeria was born in 1964. He is a strategic thinker, visionary, author, publisher, industrialist, operations and development strategist, and holds an MSc in m a r k e t i n g and public - relations management and a postgraduate diploma (PGD) in business administration and marketing-public relations management, all from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He also holds a bachelor of science (BSc) in marketing, purchasing, and supply management from Anambra State University of Science and Technology (ASUTECH) (now ESUT). He has held several positions in government and in the organized private sector. He is the Founder of CMM Group and his interests include manufacturing, trading, construction and publishing. He has several books to his credit. Sir Charles pioneered the following in Nigeria: the use of bread improver as a bread additive and Chocolate Bread as Bread Class in the Nigeria Baking Industry (1989) and (1990) respectively; and also the Federal Government ban of the use of potassium bromate as an additive in the Nigerian Baking Industry (1991). Sir Charles has the following awards to his acclaim: -Mayor of Enugu Diocesan Catholic Men Organization (CMO), Catholic Diocese of Enugu. Enugu State Nigeria for his exemplary life to God and to humanity and for his contributions to the growth of the diocese (2017). -A Patron of the old Anambra State Nigerian Union of Journalists[1992] -Vocational Service Award for selfless service to humanity in his chosen profession by the Inner Wheel Club of Enugu South [1992] -A Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Sales Management [1995] -An Industrial Development Award Winner by Anambra State Nigerian Union of Journalists [1995] -Award for contributing to the Economic and Social - Cultural Development of Nigeria by the Students Union of ESUT [1995] -Model Family Award by the Catholic Women Organization of Madonna Catholic Church, Agulu (1995). He is an ex-seminarian, a Knight of St John International; the Founding President of Christ Ambassadors, the Secretary General Light of the World Prayer Group of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria Our Lady Queen of Nigeria Pro-Cathedral Parish Garki, Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja, Nigeria. He is married to the love of his life, Nkechi E li z a b e t h, and they have an adorable son, Charles Chukwugozie Michael Jr - a Cum Laud award winner in USA.
