She home educated for nearly 20 years, and she and her husband taught children in Sunday school/Bible classes for many years. Renee developed and ran gifted and talented programs, taught nearly all grade levels, was an elementary principal, headed a high school English department, was awarded Teacher of the Year, and has conducted numerous teacher training workshops.
