Product Description

by John Heird (Author)

Tales at Sunset offers exciting Western Short Stories that explore the lives of U.S. Marshals of the 1870's. Continuing the saga of Will Tyler and Bob Johnson (found in the novels Digger's Moon-on Amazon and Kindle-and its sequel Red River Promise) we find the marshals out of the Fort Smith Federal Court engaged in a battle with Jake McSweeney. It is a tale that encompasses the title: Men of Blood. To be fully engaged with the characters of Tyler and Johnson, along with heroes Benjamin Colbert and Two Snakes, be sure and check out Digger's Moon, available on Amazon and also in a Kindle edition. Red River Promise is scheduled for publication in July, 2014. Montana Wind is expected out in December 2014. In the Short Story, Star Killers follow the quest of Marshal "Zeke" Rawlings to find the outlaws that killed his brother. It is both exciting and poignant. The ending is something not to be missed. Also by John W. Heird, and available on Kindle is, Trail of Tears, A Full Theatrical Screenplay in book form. It is a dramatic portrayal of one of the greatest American tragedies: The forced removal and relocation of the Cherokee Nation to the Indian Territory in 1836.
