This 48 page picture book has 36 pages of full page ink and watercolor illustrations by author/illustrator Marcia Leiter which delight readers of all ages from 1 to 101. The simple story and engaging characters hold the attention of the very young, while older readers are fascinated by the detailed illustrations. Adults will not get tired of reading it over and over to children because each time they can discover some new character or hidden visual joke. At the end of the book are 7 pages of activities that compliment the story, including Seek & Find, Recipes, and an Interactive Guide titled "Curious Questions" to get young imaginations working.
