Product Description

by Annell St Charles (Author)

Hilton Head is a foot-shaped island off the coast of South Carolina, approximately 20 miles northeast of Savannah, Georgia and 95 miles southeast of Charleston, South Carolina. Most of the photographs in this book were taken on Coligny Beach, which is located on the "instep" of the island, at the end of Pope Avenue and due east of Coligny Circle. They are grouped by the season in which they were shot in order to show the tremendous diversity of scenes that can be witnessed throughout the year. Other photographs are included to show the magnitude of beauty on the island.

Author Biography

Annell St. Charles lives in Nashville, Tennessee, but spends part of each season of the year at her Hilton Head Island condo near Coligny Beach. The author has spent most of her professional life lecturing and writing on health issues for medical professionals and the public. She has authored over 20 continuing education booklets, a novel titled "The Things Left Unsaid", and a book of poetry: "The Clam Shell". She is an avid walker and photographer, and on most mornings when she is on Hilton Head, you can find her on Coligny Beach at sunrise with a camera around her neck.
