Although Ryan may call the East Coast his original home, he has always been a Southern California kid at heart, having spent much of his childhood listening to the Beach Boys and daydreaming of epic surf. A born entrepreneur, Ryan has always felt most alive when he is creating something. He didn't find himself in the artistic hair world until he had tried his luck on the stage and screen as an actor in New York City. After deciding that the life of an actor in overcrowded New York City wasn't his cup of tea, it took only the simple suggestion of a trusted friend that he make a career as a hairdresser. Fast forward 10 years later: Ryan Weeden and his Spruce team are now one of the highest-rated and most sought after hairdressing companies in San Diego.
