There are mini histories on churches, fire department, bands, Stamford Seminary, hotels, Mount Utsayantha, clubs & lodges, ski areas, maple syrup, golf course, movie theaters, railroad, airport, snow storms, murders and the hospital.Illustrations are attached to almost every story. This book contents articles that were published in the Mountain Eagle & Schoharie News from 2012 until May 2018. There are also a few lists of vitals that I transcribed from original documents. All of the old photos and post cards, and a good deal of the information has been derived from the Stamford Village Library History Room where I have worked a few hours per week. Recent photos are taken by yours truly.I chose the topics at random, some because they were often or not often in the news and some just because I found an interesting photo.
