When St. Basil inherited wealth from his family, he used it to buy land and build a hospital to help those in need. St. Basil wrote many letters to guide people and defend the Christian faith. His best friend was St. Gregory of Nazianzus, and together, they stood strong for their beliefs. His legacy of kindness and generosity continues to inspire people to help others and be compassionate.
